A free screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film “The Birds” will be held on Will’s Plaza at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. 7 p.m. 100 Auditorium Circle

There will be a free screening of the Disney movie “Lilo and Stitch” at the Mission Marquee Plaza. Attendees may bring their own blanket or lawn chairs. Picnics are welcome. Magik Theatre will offer performances of “Dragons Love Tacos,” the story about a boy and his dragon who learn the dos and don’ts of eating tacos, and serving tacos at a party with other dragons. 2 p.m. March 13 and 14; and 3 p.m. March 15. March 21
Turnip Ensemble Theater presents “Murder in the Gallery,” an interactive whodunit where guests are given instructions upon purchasing their ticket and are asked to help solve the case of a murder in the 1980s East Village art scene. Each attendee becomes a character uniquely written for them. Participants then mingle with costumed professional actors into a world filled with members of New York City’s art elite, and where anyone could be a suspect. Admission includes `80s beverages, treats and eats, complimentary beer and wine, and a sneak peak at Turnip Theater’s latest devised theater project. There will also be a DJ. Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair affords Tejano music fans a chance to enjoy live performances by many musical artists, such as Eddie Gonzalez, Jay Perez, and Conxzion, and even opportunities to meet and greet their favorite stars. The DoSeum is hosting Bug Squad, an immersive, hands-on exhibit that features talking, animatronic members of the Bug Squad, a group of superheroes whose storylines, abilities and character traits are meant to get children moving, imagining, and exploring the surrounding play spaces. San Antonio Zoo hosts Pollinators, a new display featuring 12 larger-than-life, pollinator-themed climbable sculptures that take visitors into their world. Guests will learn how pollinators, such as the chocolate midge, Mexican long-tongued bat, the monarch butterfly and the hummingbird fertilize plants by transferring pollen, accommodating the production of fruits, seeds, and more than 180,000 plant species. Witte Museum is hosting “Unseen Oceans,” a special visiting, multimedia exhibition that takes visitors on a journey from the sunlit surface of the sea to its mysterious depths. Guests will meet the tiniest and biggest organisms, control a virtual submersible, traverse displays of marine species that light up in brilliant hues under special lighting conditions, examine cutting-edge tools and see how scientists are using sonar, laser, robotics and AI to map the ocean floor and protect endangered ecosystems worldwide. “Otherwild’ is a large-scale immersive exhibit featuring the works of artist Patrick Shearn and his studio, Poetic Kinetics, who are renowned for turning public spaces into areas of magic, movement, and awe. Visitors will engage two sections. One is Flora Borealis, a custom Skynet installation that uses ultra-lightweight materials to mimic the flowing movement of birds and fish. The other section, Enchanted Trees, is a sculptural grove of 10 imaginary species that celebrate nature’s diversity. Entry with garden admission. San Antonio Botanical Garden, 555 Funston Place.

Mexican American Civil Rights Institute is hosting “William Merriweather Pena: The Father of Architectural Programming.” This exhibit features photos, documents and other artifacts chronicling the life and career of perhaps the most renowned Mexican American architect of the 20th century. San Antonio Art League and Museum hosts the 24th annual Collegiate Art Exhibition, featuring original works by students of local college and university art departments. Gallery open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tue.-Sat. Admission is free. 130 King William St.

San Antonio Museum of Art is hosting “Readymade Remix: New Approaches to Familiar Objects,” an exhibition of found objects, manufactured goods and household items that are displayed in a manner that compels the viewer to see those items in new ways, purposes and perspectives. Entry with museum admission. SAMA is also hosting free Spring Break family day 10 a.m.-7 p.m. March 10 with free museum entry for all. The Beacon at Midtown Gallery is hosting the Texas A&M University San Antonio 2026 Creative Art Expo, a display of original works by TAMUSA visual art students. “Cognizant Distance” is Kristina Salinas’ exhibition of images that trace her paternal lineage in a regional journey from her home in San Antonio, Texas through her birthplace of Laredo, Texas and ending at her ancestral home of Candela, Coahuila, Mexico. Bihl Haus Arts kicks off its annual “On and Off Fred” tour of open studios of artists who live and work around the Beacon Hill/Deco District neighborhood. Luminaria Contemporary Art Festival presents “The Divine Fem,” a pop-up art gallery that celebrates Women’s History Month with original works by local artists such as Alannah Tiller, Caterina Suttin, Caitlin Morris, Jo E. Norris, Julieta Ferrer, Krystina Sibley, Maria Guerra, Salgu Wissmath, and Symone Harvey. Epic Bounce, a 35,000-square-foot traveling outdoor inflatable amusement park, will be open for San Antonio-area residents to visit March 12-15 and 20-22. Guests may climb, jump and slide around the various elements. Entry is available via single sessions, VIP passes, birthday parties and group events. 8401 W. Loop 1604 N.

San Antonio Parks Foundation will hold its annual Fest of Tails, a family and pet friendly event where attendees can get a kite or bring their own kite to fly. San Antonio Water System will hold its annual Spring Bloom event to mark the arrival of spring. Visitors can talk with local horticulture and water experts, enjoy gardening and landscaping presentations, and learn about SAWS’ WaterSaver Landscape coupon program. Coliseum Collectors’ Expo will feature several vendors, artists, gaming, tournaments, giveaways, food trucks and more. There will also be a card trading event on site on the evening of March 14. The city of San Antonio will hold its annual St. Patrick’s Day parades and celebration. Activities on March 14 last 1-7:30 p.m. and include a festival with food, entertainment and craft workshops across La Villita and Arneson River Theatre, and two downtown parades on a green-dyed San Antonio River. Programming 1-6 p.m. March 15 will include more festival activities at Arneson River Theatre and La Villita, river-bound entertainment, and a dog fashion show. Admission is free. 418 Villita St.

Hill Country ComicCon will feature celebrities, artists, vendors, cosplay and more activities for the whole family. There will be an area dedicated to Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, and all things trading card collecting. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. March 14-15. Brackenridge Park Conservancy co-presents its third annual Polo in the Park at Brackenridge Park. This is a return of polo, which was regularly played at the park’s polo field from the 1930s through the 1980s. This year’s event will feature an exhibition polo match with legacy polo families, special guests, exclusive memorabilia, live music and stylish competitions, including a hat contest and best-dressed showcase. Guests are encouraged to wear classic equestrian fashion with statement hats, tailored blazers, chic sundresses, and riding boots. 2-5 p.m. Admission is free, but RSVPs are encouraged.
